The Boston Celtics have made a significant move at the trade deadline, acquiring fifth-year point guard Derrick White from the San Antonio Spurs. The deal, which also includes several other players, adds a dangerous element to the Celtics' already-strong lineup.
As part of the transaction, the Celtics sent Josh Richardson, Romeo Langford, a protected first-round pick, and a second-round pick to the Spurs. In return, Boston received White, who has emerged as a reliable and versatile guard in his time with San Antonio.
